The resorts of Lenzerheide - Valbella are situated in a high valley at 1476 meters above the sea and Lenzerheide has a population of ~3137.
The surroundings of Heid Lake are great for hiking and skiing holidays and there are also various activity programmes for kids, which make the area excellent for family vacations. Here is carried out and the popular Viva-la-Strada Festival. Lenzerheide provides with good choice of restaurants, cosy inns, bars, discos, quality holes, ski chalets and private accommodation. Although mostly popular for ski holidays, Lenzerheide - Valbella are also perfect for summer holidays. The magnificent Heidsee is attraction many hikers and sport enthusiasts with its paddle boats, hydro bikes, sailing boats and surfboards. There are 155 kilometers of downhill slopes and forty lifts in the Lenzerheide – Valbella area. Lenzerheide-Valbella is a paradise for skiers and snowboarders and there is a great new snow park on Alp Statz. The Bike Attack (27.5 kilometers) was one of the first free ride marathons, and with 2329 meters altitude change it is one of the most difficult challenges of its kind.

Lenzerheide - Valbella Skiing Holidays
The Swiss village of Lenzerheide provides with direct access to one hundred fifty-five kilometers of well groomed ski pistes, with fifty-eight individual slopes, accessed by forty lifts. Around forty kilometers of Lenzerheide - Valbella skiing area is served by snow cannons for artificial snow and the 40 lifts are able to take up the ski slopes nearly 40000 people per hour. Lenzerheide claims to have one of the most modern lift facilities of Switzerland. The resort has been constantly upgrading its lift facilities so it is not strange that the ski village hosted the FIS Ski World Cup. Lenzerheide has and fifty kilometers of cross-country tracks. The village also boasts the longest illuminated slope in Switzerland for night snow sports. The Taeli run on Alp Staetz is illuminated on Friday evenings from December to March. Snowboarders and free riders will have graet fun at the new snow park on Alp Statz which provides with straight boxes, down boxes, kickers and floaters.

Lenzerheide's apres ski and night life is concentrated mainly around the hotels. The Cinema Club in hotel Kurhaus Alpina is one of the busiest places with several nice bars. For chilling out one can visit the lounge or coffee bar in hotel Schweizerhof.

Lenzerheide - Valbella Transportation
The nearest airports to Lenzerheide and Valbella are the regional Altenrhein and the international Zurich airport.
By train:
From Zurich and the Lake Constance with the SBB train to the town of Chur where on have to change with bus to Lenzerheide and Valbella.
From the Valais region and Central Switzerland with a FO train to Chur and again by bus to the resorts.
By car:
From the Zurich, Bavaria and Austria via motorway A3/A13 to Chur, where one should take the Chur-Süd exit and continue on the main road to Lenzerheide.
From Southern Switzerland and Italy on motorway A2/A13 via San Bernardino to Chur, exit Chur-Sud and again to Lenzerheide and Valbella. Also one can take and the Thusis exit and continue to Tiefencastel and Lenzerheide.
From Central Switzerland via the main road Oberalp pass - Disentis - Ilanz – Reichenau, then on motorway A13 to Chur and same route as above.
