The Swiss picturesque village of Iseltwald is the only resort situated the southern shore of Brienz Lake, set on rock in the lake. Iseltwald is a small and quiet, but famous holiday village with preserved originality and attracts many visitors, especially during the summer season. Iseltwald is located in a beautiful landscape by the Schnaggeninseli isle in front of the holiday resort, the peninsula and the cozy cove. The resort’s restaurants are famous with their fine fish delicacies. Iseltwald hosts various folklore and musical events annually. A pleasant walk in the woods leads up to the famous Iseltwald is also very popular with the Giessbach waterfalls which are on a nice walk nearby. There are some easy and romantic walking paths along the Lake Brienz, as well as demanding hiking trails up the mountain. Naturally there are a number of sporting attractions here, including surfing, waterskiing, fishing, motor boat trips and more. The outdoor swimming pool at the end of the Iseltwald is a heaven for the sunbathers.

The nearest airports to Iseltwald are these in Zurich-Kloten and Bern-Belpmoos.
By train one can get to Interlaken and continue a twenty minutes ride by bus to Iseltwald.
By car from Berne to Interlaken and the village of Iseltwald. Or from Zurich to Lucerne - Brunig - Brienz and the resort of Iseltwald.
